Crowing in the Full Spring Moon at the Beacon – 14th March 2025, 5:00 PM
Celebrate the rise of the full moon nearest the spring equinox with a walk to Caer Bran for sunset and back to Sancreed Beacon for moonrise.
Start Time: 5.00 PM
Meeting Point: Sancreed Beacon parking layby
Duration: 2.5 hours (moderate difficulty, includes some off-track walking, a couple of hills, and a section of road).
Route: We’ll walk to Caer Bran from Sancreed Beacon to watch the sunset from this special place. Our return will be to Sancreed Beacon to watch the moon rise – hopefully back to its usual colour after it had set blood red and eclipsed earlier in the day. If we get time we will pop to the well.
