Solar Cans

Homemade pinhole cameras are lots of fun and a great way to track the suns annual path through the sky. Each sunny day the sun will shine through the pinhole and burn a line on the photographic paper inside the can. As the sun changes position through the year a pattern showing its path will form on the image.

I have been experimenting with home made solar cans Following are some of my results:

Lughnasadh to Equinox over Carn Galver
home looking east for a couple of months
A month looking east

A huge thanks to Olga Suchanova for running a workshop with Mayes Creative on how to make homemade versions of solar cans.
